Cette œuvre est le souvenir de paysages admirés dans le Cerrado brésilien. Elle est aussi un avertissement écologique, mettant en lumière la savane la plus riche en biodiversité, qui possède un système racinaire très puissant, capable de stocker le carbone de l’atmosphère et d’alimenter 8 des 12 plus grands bassins hydrographiques du Brésil. C’est pour cela qu’il est connu sous le nom de forêt inversée.​

 

This work is the memory of landscapes admired in the Brazilian Cerrado. It is also an ecological warning, highlighting the savanna that is the most biodiverse, with a powerful root system capable of storing carbon from the atmosphere and feeding 8 of Brazil’s 12 largest hydrographic basins. That is why it is known as the inverted forest.
